My Story

Hi there! Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Warren, and I’m excited to welcome you to my blog. I live in rural New Hampshire with my wife and two teenage boys. We enjoy many outdoor activities that New Hampshire affords us, including camping, hiking, canoeing, and skiing. In addition, we spend our summers gardening and the rest of the year raising chickens and developing our humble homestead. I am a graduate of Rutgers University and currently work for a large technology company in Revenue Recognition & Lessor Technical Accounting.

With over 25 years of experience as a finance and accounting professional, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that entrepreneurs, small business owners, and executives face when setting out to achieve and surpass their goals. I’ve learned over the years that success comes through setting clear, actionable goals and applying thoughtful strategies to achieve them.

To continue growing professionally and personally, we need to develop new skills and gain progressive experiences. In addition, I have learned that role models and mentors can speed this process along. I have been mentored throughout my career and personal life and, in turn, offered my mentoring as it became of value over the years. Throughout my life, I have enjoyed and been successful at developing and mentoring talent to be high achievers in my organizations and their individual endeavors.

I have a background as a lifelong entrepreneur, starting with a lawn care business in high school and then as an independent consultant early in my career. As I got older, I became involved in various real estate ventures. When I didn’t have money, I started bird-dogging deals with private investors. Later, my wife and I purchased and rented a vacation cabin and then moved on to owning and managing multi-unit apartments.

I thrive off of surrounding myself with positive and motivated people aimed at achieving high levels of success, which is why I created this blog.
