My Story

Hi there! Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Warren. I’m a corporate accounting leader, lifelong learner, and mentor to professionals walking their own leadership journey.

I live in rural New Hampshire with my wife and two teenage sons. When I’m not mentoring or writing, I’m reading Tolkien or Lewis, hiking the nearby mountains, or tending to our backyard chickens and garden.

I created The Proven Path — a leadership and career framework inspired by the Hero’s Journey to help others grow with intention. It’s a structure I’ve mentored through and lived firsthand. Now I write to guide others as they walk their own version of it — with clarity, courage, and purpose.

For over 25 years, I’ve worked inside global technology companies. I started as a junior accountant and progressed to a senior director over time. I’ve led teams through high-stakes transformations, overseen complex accounting systems, and helped others rise along the way.

What I’ve discovered over those years is this:
Career growth doesn’t follow a straight line.
It’s not a ladder. It’s a journey.

The most meaningful progress I’ve seen in myself and in others doesn’t come from chasing promotions. It comes from mastering the inner game of clarity, focus, self-awareness, and service.
